Marion Tjin-Tham-Sjin, a dynamic figure with Dutch and Chinese heritage, is the founder of Splendid China and Managing Director of fCN Asia Business. Aged 50, Marion embodies a rich fusion of cultures, splitting her time between Holland and Shanghai.
In 2006, she founded Splendid China to assist entrepreneurs in exporting to China across diverse sectors. The company, with offices in Shanghai and The Netherlands, reflects Marion’s commitment to fostering global business ties. Recognized with the Wintrade global award in 2018, Marion balances her professional achievements with a love for shared living, travel, scuba diving, skiing, and sailing, creating a splendid mosaic of experiences.

fCN Trade Mission Shanghai 2013
Marking a remarkable success, the fCN Trade Mission to Shanghai proved to be an enriching experience, fostering valuable connections and fruitful business relationships. Participants explored a multitude of new opportunities, engaging in insightful discussions. The Indigo Hotel set the stage with an engaging cocktail-shaker show, unveiling the novel Elderflower flavor. A pleasant lunch at Google Shanghai, orchestrated by a dedicated fCN member, laid the groundwork for a seminar featuring industry insights. The BenCham Gala, attended by prominent figures in the Benelux-China business realm, celebrated fCN’s collective achievements. Gratitude extends for the warm reception at Peter Potman’s residence, which facilitated meaningful connections with his Chinese associates.
